“C.E.O.’2.0” is a large-scale Business case study competition and workshop series organized by AIESEC in University of Kelaniya in collaboration with AIESEC in Informatics Institute of Technology and AIESEC at Uva Wellassa University. C.E.O 2.0 is an event focused on Marketing, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, and IT. It is focused on Gen Z, to give them an opportunity to gain corporate exposure and to improve their professional and leadership skills. The project primarily impacts the educated, skilled young crowd of Sri Lanka by conducting the event with many touchpoints with stakeholders. This event aimed at challenging every opportunity, provides a platform for undergraduate students to explore and gain practical experience in their fields. AIESEC SL, a global platform for young people, focuses on developing leadership potential through volunteering and internship exchange programs. In collaboration with PARAQUM TECHNOLOGIES, AIESEC conducted a competition for students from various universities, including a series of workshops.
At the initial round, our young marketers’ business case study report has been selected in the 10 case studies among 16 submitted case studies. Our students are now eligible for the final round. For the final round preparation Nurasha Dewasinghe, Nadun Kavinda, Shashinim Uthpala, and Udith Lakpriya Gayani Prasadi participated in the mentoring session held on July 16, 2023, at the University of Kelaniya. The mentoring session, conducted by distinguished mentors, CEO of BARISTA, Mr. Dilupa Pathirana, and Mr. Mus’ab Nalir, the founder of Volunteer Nation and head of the Mega campaign at DARAZ, focused on enhancing presentation skills and nurturing a passionate career development mindset. These skills are crucial for the final round of the competition.
